PUBLIC MISCHIEF CHARGES LAID AFTER VEHICLE INVOLVED IN COLLISION WAS REPORTED STOLEN

(TOWNSHIP OF GEORGIAN BLUFFS, ON) – On Thursday, September 4, 2014 at approximately 8:28 p.m., Grey County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) investigated a single vehicle rollover on Concession 14 in the Township of Georgian Bluffs.

Police arrived at the scene and observed an abandoned 1997 Pontiac Grand Am vehicle with extensive damage to it as a result of the collision. A short time later, the same vehicle was reported stolen.

Police conducted their investigations and, as a result, two people were charged in connection to these incidents.

The driver of the vehicle, Paul Robert FROMAGER, age 36, and Anita Debra COTURE, age 37, both of the Township of Georgian Bluffs, were each charged with Public Mischief under the Criminal Code.

They are scheduled to appear in court in Owen Sound on September 25, 2014.
