Property damage – arrest

On March 25, 2014 at 2:08 p.m., the Guelph Police went to a Brant Avenue apartment for a male committing damage to property. Investigation alleges that the male had damaged water lines to the washing machines, cut the lock of the storage room, pulled the fire alarm and threatened the life of the superintendent. Police attempted to arrest the male but he was uncooperative and resisted.

A 23-year-old Guelph man has been charged with mischief to property under $5,000, utter threats, false alarm of fire and resist arrest. He has been held in custody and will appear in court on May 26, 2014.
