(Prince Edward County, ON) On Friday, December 18, 2015 Prince Edward County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers responded to a domestic disturbance at a residence in Carrying Place. The investigation revealed a 32 year old male had assaulted his girlfriend.

The accused, a resident of Trenton has been charged with:

Assault (2 Counts) and

Operate a Motor Vehicle while Suspended.

The accused will appear in the Ontario Court of Justice Picton, ON on January 6, 2016

The victim received non-life threatening injuries in both incidents.

The accused cannot be identified to protect the identity of the victim.

Domestic Assault

(Prince Edward County, ON) On Saturday, December 19, 2015 at 2:15 am Prince Edward County OPP were dispatched to a residence on White Chapel Road for a report of a man brandishing a weapon. Upon arrival, officers discovered an ongoing domestic between a 26 year old male and and a 25 year old female.

The investigation revealed the male had broken into the home and a conflict occurred between the accused and the male owner of the home. The male occupant fled the residence and the accused caused damage to the house, engaging in a physical altercation with the female victim.

The 25 year old accused, a Picton resident was arrested and charged with:

Assault,

Assault with a Weapon,

Break and Enter and

Mischief Under $5000 (2 Counts)

The accused will appear in the Ontario Court of Justice, Picton, ON on January 13, 2016 to answer to the charges. The female, an ex-girlfriend of the accused, received non-life threatening injuries as a result of the incident.

The accused cannot be identified to protect the identity of the victim.

Assault Police

(Prince Edward County, ON) On Saturday, December 19, 2015 shortly after 1:00 am Prince Edward County OPP officers, on general patrol of Main Street, Picton, observed an intoxicated male causing a disturbance. The male was standing in the middle of the street yelling at several other people on the sidewalk. Upon arrest, the male became aggressive, striking an officer.

Johnathon FOX-CONNOR age 25 of Picton, has been charged with:

Assaulting a Police Officer,

Resisting Arrest,

Possession of a Controlled Substance,

Theft Under $5000 and

Being Intoxicated in a Public Place.

The accused will appear in the Ontario Court of Justice, Picton, ON on February 3, 2016.

Young Person Arrested

(Prince Edward County, ON) On Friday, December 18, 2015 Prince Edward County OPP officers were called to a residence for a disturbance. A 15 year old female had been uttering threats to harm another resident.

The accused was charged with Uttering Threats and Breaching an Undertaking.

She will appear in the Ontario Court of Justice, Belleville, ON for a bail hearing on Monday, December 21, 2015.

The name of the accused cannot be released in accordance with the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
