(Prescott, Ont.) – Between Monday October 3rd to Sunday October 9th , 2016, the Prescott Office of the Grenville Ontario Provincial Police responded to 66 general occurrences. Of these occurrences, 20 were in Edwardsburgh Township, 17 in Augusta Township, 17 Town of Prescott, 12 on highway 401 and 416.
On October 3rd at approximately 1pm, officers responded to a traffic complainant, involving a Honda Civic travelling at a high rate on speed southbound on highway 416, in Edwardsburgh Township. Officers stopped the vehicle and arrested the 42 year old female, from Stittsvville Ontario. Jodi BROWN was charged with driving while ability impaired and driving with more than 80 mgs of alcohol in blood.
On October 7th at approximately 2am, officers stopped a grey Kia on Henry street, in the town of Prescott. The vehicle drew attention to the officers, due to the poor condition of the vehicle plates. The driver, was identified as Gary DONOVAN, age 67 of Prescott, Ontario. The driver was charged with with driving while ability impaired and driving with more than 80 mgs of alcohol in blood.
