POTENTIAL THIEF FLEES FROM HOME WHEN APPROACHED BY RESIDENT

(MIDDLESEX CENTRE, ON) – Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is reminding residents the importance of keeping your doors locked at all times after a resident encountered a potential thief in his home.

On July 26, 2014 at approximately 9:05 p.m. a homeowner left a residence on Willard Crescent in Middlesex Centre. Shortly after the car left the driveway, an unknown suspect entered through the unlocked front door. Once inside, the suspect was approached by a resident still in the home. The suspect immediately fled on foot. He is described as a Caucasian male, approximately six feet tall wearing a black knap sack and dark shorts.
