(LAKE ONTARIO, ON) Members of the Northumberland Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are currently on scene of possible human remains that were found at approximately 2:14 pm on Wednesday September 11, 2013 on Gull Island in Lake Ontario.
Northumberland OPP Marine Unit and Crime Unit members, the Central Region Emergency Response Team (ERT) and OPP Forensic Identification Services Unit (FISU) from Peterborough attended for further investigation to be conducted on Gull Island which is inclusive of the Presqu’ile Provincial Park territory.
