(HURON EAST, ON) – Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers are currently investigating the theft of a black 2005 Pontiac Sunfire stolen from a Railway Street residence in Seaforth.
The Sunfire was stolen sometime between 7:30 p.m. on July 3, 2013 and 2:30 a.m. on July 4, 2013. The vehicle has a rear spoiler and a dent on top of the trunk. The vehicle is valued at approximately $1000. The vehicle was left unlocked with the ignition key left inside the vehicle.
Also stolen from inside the vehicle were two Shimano fishing rods and a tackle box.
Huron County OPP would like to remind vehicle owners to always lock your vehicle, remove your valuables, park in a well-lit area when possible and do not leave your keys inside the vehicle.
