(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) – On Sunday February 2, 2014 at approximately 7:20 p.m., members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Norfolk County Detachment responded to an incident at a Cedar Street, Simcoe, Norfolk County, Ontario address.
While responding to the call for service, the officer passed two motor vehicles travelling east bound on Cedar Street. While in the midst of passing, one of the vehicles turned into the path of the police vehicle causing a collision.
No one was injured during the collision however there was reportable damage to both vehicles.
Subsequent to investigation of the collision, 53 year V-Lynn BOUCK from Norfolk County, Ontario was charged under the Highway Traffic Act for Turn – Not in Safety.
She is to appear in Provincial Court, Simcoe at a later date to answer to the charge.
