(CITY OF KAWARTHA LAKES, ON.) The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is currently appealing to the public for information pertaining to the structure fire on Sturgeon Lake Island near Pickerel Point, in the former Fenelon Township.
On Saturday, August 31, 2013 the OPP was contacted in regards to a residence that was fully engulfed by fire. The fire was deemed suspicious and the City of Kawartha Lakes detachment of the OPP has subsequently initiated an investigation.
At this time the OPP is requesting that anyone with information pertaining to this incident contact the investigating officers, P/C Quigley or P/C Cappus, at 705-324-6741.
