(ORILLIA, ON) – The Orillia Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are currently investigating Break and Enters at two residences in Severn Township.
Police are asking for the assistance of the public in identifying the suspect in both cases. Due to the nature of the break in’s police believe that they are related and may also be related to several other break and enters in Oro-Medonte Township.
On July 8, 2014 between 4:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m., the suspect cut the screen of an open window and entered a residence on Canal Road in Severn Township. No one was in the residence at the time and police are looking for an older model small red car with a loud muffler that was seen leaving the residence.
Sometime between the evening of Sunday July 6 and 7:00 p.m. on July 8, someone cut the screen of an open window and entered a residence on Cambrian Road in Severn Township.
The Orillia OPP would like to remind the public to lock all windows and doors when leaving their residence for any period of time.
