Police Seek Female Injured In Assault That May Be Afraid To Seek Medical Attention

On Monday, December 22, 2014, at approximately 4 a.m., officers responded to a call for an Unknown Trouble in the Yonge Street and Finch Avenue area.

It is reported that:

– a woman had been assaulted inside an apartment building in the area

– she sustained a serious cut to the left side of her face

– police believe that her injuries will require medical attention

– police believe she might be afraid to seek assistance

She is described as Asian, 20-30, long black hair, last seen wearing light-coloured pants, a black shirt and a white jacket.

Police are concerned for her safety.
