(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Norfolk County Detachment is looking to return property to its rightful owners after police arrested two females.
Between Thursday, July 31, 2014 and Sunday, August 3, 2014 the Norfolk County OPP received several calls from citizens located in the Simcoe and Delhi area community after unknowns had entered vehicles and removed various items of property.
On Sunday, August 3, 2014 at approximately 3:09 a.m., police were contacted by an alert citizen after observing an unknown female enter a vehicle parked in the parking lot. Police were also informed about another suspicious female that was located in close proximity in a grey coloured vehicle.
Through the course of investigation, police arrested and charged two females and recovered a stolen vehicle along with a large amount of stolen property.
Police are looking to speak to anyone that had items stolen from their vehicle between Thursday, July 31, 2014 and Sunday, August 3, 2014 in the Simcoe and Delhi area. Police would like to return the recovered stolen property to its rightful owners.
