The Waterloo Regional Police Service is investigating an aggravated assault which occurred on King Street West in downtown Kitchener. On September 21, 2014, at approximately 1:30 a.m. two 22 year old males were assaulted by three men outside a Kitchener establishment. The parties had been involved in an earlier altercation.
One of the victims was admitted to Hamilton General Hospital for his injuries and is currently listed in critical condition. The second male was taken to St. Mary’s Hospital for treatment and released.
Arrested and charged are Devin MCMULLIN (24 years) and Shane MCMULLIN (20 years), both of Cambridge. They have a scheduled court date of November 6, 2014.
