(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Norfolk County Detachment received a report of an attempt theft of a motor vehicle at a Chapel Street, Simcoe, Norfolk County, Ontario address.
On Monday, October 13, 2014 between 1:30 p.m. and 9:45 p.m., unknowns proceeded to enter a locked pick-up truck by damaging the door lock. Once inside, unknowns then damaged the steering column in an attempt to remove the vehicle however their attempt was not successful. An iPod that was left in the vehicle was subsequently removed by the unknown suspects prior to fleeing from the area.
