Police Investigating After Water Balloon Hits Vehicle

(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Norfolk County Detachment is investigating an act of mischief at a Head Street, Simcoe, Norfolk County, Ontario, address.

On Tuesday, March 24, 2015 at approximately 8:29 p.m., a vehicle was travelling along Head Street, when another vehicle passing threw a water balloon striking the vehicle. The driver was able to safely stop the motor vehicle without being involved in a collision and contact the police.

The suspect vehicle which is described a silver coloured BMW, contained approximately 6 youths, continued towards West Street. Police are following up on information that has been received by the public in an attempt to identify the vehicle and occupants.

This is a very dangerous act that had the potential to cause a collision and injury to the operator of the vehicle or another innocent motorist travelling on the roadway.
