(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Norfolk County Detachment received a report of a stolen vehicle from a Windham Road 3, Windham, Norfolk County, Ontario address.
On Thursday, October 30, 2014 in the early morning hours, unknowns attended the residence and gained entry into the garage. Once inside, unknowns proceeded to remove a yellow, 2012 Polaris 800 Sportsman All- Terrain Vehicle.
The theft is valued at approximately $8,500 dollars.
The Norfolk County OPP Detachment is continuing to investigate and is seeking assistance from the public. If anyone has any information regarding this incident, they are being asked to contact the Norfolk County OPP Detachment at 1-888-310-1122.
Police are reminding all Norfolk County residents to report suspicious behaviour. If you see suspicious persons or vehicles, try to obtain as much detail as you can, write down the person(s) description, the type of vehicle they are driving and the licence plate number.
Then don’t delay, call the police and report it. 1 – 888 – 310 – 1122 will put you in contact with the nearest O.P.P. Communications Centre to report the activity. OPP (677) on your cellular will also work.
