Police Investigating After Debris Falls From Vehicle

(BRANT COUNTY, ON) – Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) County of Brant detachment investigated a traffic complaint at a Colborne Street West, Brant County, Ontario, address.

On Sunday, March 8, 2015 at approximately 1:52 p.m., a red Dodge pick-up truck was travelling west bound on Colborne Street West when two bags of debris flew out of the vehicle.

The debris did not strike the vehicle following however it did startle the driver. The driver was able to safely stop their motor vehicle without being involved in a collision and immediately contacted the police.

“This is a very dangerous act that had the potential to cause a collision and injury to the operator of the vehicle or another innocent motorist travelling on the roadway. Police are reminding all motorists to secure all loads that are being transported in their vehicles,” comments Constable Ed Sanchuk, County of Brant OPP.
