(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Norfolk County Detachment is reminding the public to protect their property and valuables against would be thieves after a theft was reported at a James Street, Delhi, Norfolk County, Ontario address.
On Tuesday, August 19, 2014, at approximately 5:46 p.m., police received a call after two unknown males were observed removing an air compressor from the back of a pick-up truck. The owner of the pick-up walked in the rear yard when the theft occurred. A neighbour observed the theft and immediately informed the owner.
Two males were riding bicycles and were last seen heading northbound on James Street with the property.
The item is described as a 2 gallon Mastercraft air compressor, blue in colour, valued at approximately $50 dollars.
The first suspect was described to police as a white male wearing an orange shirt.
The second suspect is described as a white male with a pony tail.
