(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Norfolk County Detachment is reminding the public to protect their property and valuables against would be thieves after an attempted vehicle entry was reported at a Charlotteville Road 1, Charlotteville, Norfolk County, Ontario address.
On Wednesday, August 13, 2014, between 4:30 a.m. and 6:00 a.m., unknown suspects attempted to enter an unlocked motor vehicle that was parked in the driveway of the residence. During the attempted entry, the unknown suspect was confronted by the owner at which time the suspect fled from the area dropping a gym bag containing clothing.
Police are looking to return the items that were recovered to the rightful owner. If any resident recently had a vehicle entry where a gym bag and clothing were taken, they are being asked to contact the Norfolk County OPP Detachment at 519-426-3434.
