(HURON-KINLOSS TWP, ON) – The South Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is investigating a report of a credit card scam from a business in Huron-Kinloss Township. Between July 10, 2013 and August 1, 2013 three orders were placed over the telephone and charged to a credit card. The retailer has since learned that the transactions were fraudulent in nature. The total amount charged is more than $35,000.
The South Bruce OPP is recommending caution with-the-phone purchases.
The South Bruce OPP is requesting anyone with information that can assist police to call 1-888-310-1122.
