Police Find Stolen Property – Bristol Terrace

At about 8:00 PM on December 21, while in attendance at a Bristol Terrace residence on an unrelated matter, an officer noticed a young woman who appeared to be sleeping in a parked car.

The officer went to check on the wellbeing of the woman and observed several items that had recently been reported stolen in Bruce County. While the officer was dealing with the woman, the owner of the vehicle returned. Both individuals were placed under arrest for possession of property obtained by crime. 36 year old Jason Bester is charged with possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000 and breach of probation. A 17 year old Brussels youth is charged with possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000. Both were released and are to appear in court in January.
