(STRONG TWP, ON) On Monday October 21, 2013 at approximately 9:45p.m officers from the Almaguin Highlands Ontario Provincial Police were conducting a R.I.D.E. program (Reduce Impaired Driving Everywhere) at the intersection of Highway 124 and Mountainview Drive, Strong Township.
A brown Malibu approached the R.I.D.E. check and the officer detected an odour of marihuana. The driver was arrested for possession of a controlled substance and relased from police custody.
