(North Stormont) – On September 30, 2014 at approximately 9:00am, SD&G OPP officers responded to a report of a pick-up truck discovered abandoned at a property on Ashburn Road, North Stormont Township. The vehicle is linked to an ongoing investigation into a reported break-in and theft of vehicle from a property on Cameron Road, North Dundas Township. Investigation indicated that overnight (28-29Sep14), a garage was entered and a plasma cutter, electric impact gun and an assortment of related tools were taken. Also stolen was a 2009 Chevrolet Silverado pick-up truck, white with chrome handles and wheel well flares.
The investigation continues.
