(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Norfolk County Detachment has charged a 38 year old male after police stopped a vehicle at a Main Street, Courtland, Norfolk County, Ontario, address.
On Wednesday, March 26, 2014, at approximately 9:52 p.m., police were conducting patrols in the area of Highway 3, when a vehicle attracted an officer’s attention. The vehicle was subsequently stopped and investigated.
As a result of police investigation, the operator of the motor vehicle was arrested and charged.
Charged with Criminal Code, Liquor Licence Act and Highway Traffic Act offences is 38 year old Peter ZACHARIAS of Norfolk County, Ontario.

Driving motor vehicle with liquor readily available
Drive motor vehicle not equipped with an approved ignition interlock device
He is to appear in Provincial Court, Simcoe at a later date to answer to the charges.
