(Tillsonburg, ON) – Members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Child Sexual Exploitation Unit, Technological Crime Unit and the Oxford County OPP Detachment have arrested and charged a Tillsonburg man following a 3 month on-line undercover child pornography investigation.
On August 26, 2015 police executed a search warrant at a Tillsonburg residence. As a result of this investigation 1 computer system and external media were seized which contained images of child sexual abuse.
On August 26, 2015 police arrested Troy ARMSTRONG, 32 years-old of Tillsonburg, Ontario. He is charged with two counts of Possession of Child Pornography and one count of Accessing Child Pornography. The accused will appear for a bail hearing at the Ontario Court of Justice in Woodstock, Ontario on September 22, 2015.
The investigation is on-going.
