(TRENTON, ON) – Members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Child Sexual Exploitation Unit and the Canadian Forces National Investigation Service (NIS) have charged a Trenton man following one month child pornography investigation.
On February 12, 2014 OPP and the NIS Integrated Technological Crime Unit executed a search warrant at a Trenton residence. As a result of this investigation, computers and other items pertinent to the investigation were seized which contained images of child sexual abuse.
Joshua LALONDE, age 29 years, of Trenton, Ontario is charged with two counts of Possession of Child Pornography, one count Distribute Child Pornography and one count of Possession of controlled substance.
The accused is scheduled to attend a Bail Hearing today, at the Ontario Court of Justice in Belleville, Ontario.
The investigation is continuing.
