(KAPUSKASING, ON) – On November 9, 2015, the James Bay Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) executed an arrest warrant on Balsam Crescent in the Town of Kapuskasing.
As a result of an investigation involving the OPP Child Sexual Exploitation Unit (CSEU), the OPP Technological Crime Unit (TCU), the North East Region OPP Crime Unit and members of the James Bay Detachments, a local male was arrested and charged.
Jean-Guy RICHARD, 63, of Kapuskasing, Ontario was charged with the offence of Possession of Child Pornography contrary to section 163.1(4) of the Criminal Code of Canada (CC).
He was remanded into custody and his next bail hearing is scheduled to take place at the Ontario Court of Justice in Cochrane on November 30, 2015.
