(HUNTSVILLE, ON) – Members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Child Sexual Exploitation Unit, OPP Technological Crime Unit and the Huntsville OPP Detachment have arrested and charged a Huntsville man following an on-line undercover child pornography investigation.
On September 4, 2014 police executed a search warrant at a Huntsville residence. As a result of this investigation, four computer systems and external media were seized which contained images of child sexual abuse.
On September 4, 2014, police arrested Jaques Francois Roger COMTE, 45 years-old of Huntsville, Ontario. He is charged with two counts of Possession of Child Pornography, one count of Making Available Child Pornography and one count of Accessing Child Pornography. The accused will appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Huntsville on September 17, 2014.
The investigation is continuing.
