The London Police Cyber Crime Unit received information from Toronto Police Service that a resident in London was making child pornography available on the Internet.
On November 29, 2013 the London Police Cyber Crime unit executed a search warrant at a Lawson Road residence. As a result of evidence obtained, 27-year-old James McDowell was charged with the following Criminal Code offences:
Three counts of possession of child pornography, contrary to section 163.1(4
Accessing child pornography, contrary to section 163.1(4.1)
Two counts of making available child pornography, contrary to section 163.1(3)
Production of child pornography, contrary to section 163.1(2)
