Waterloo Regional Police are releasing the attached composite image to assist the investigation along with an appeal to the community for any information that may help identify the suspect. An amended description is also included: Male, White, 5’11â€Â, in his twenties. The suspect was last seen wearing a beige short sleeve shirt, having big checkered squares on it, beige pants, and sunglasses.

On Saturday, June 28th, 2014 sometime between 6:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. an unknown male approached two 11-year old girls who were playing at the rear of a townhouse complex on Holborn Drive in the city of Kitchener. The suspect tried to engage the girls in conversation and asked them to go to the park with him. The male followed the children a short distance until they ran for help. The suspect was described as: • Male, White • 5’11†• 20 – 30 years of age • Brown hair (possibly a brush cut, and he may have a goatee) • Wearing a beige short sleeve shirt, having big checkered squares on it, beige pants, and sunglasses Major Case is investigating the possibility that the suspect in this occurrence is also responsible for an incident involving a young girl on May 19, 2014 at Sunnydale Place, Waterloo. Parents are reminded to discuss safety strategies with their children and to ensure they are aware of the importance of reporting suspicious behavior immediately to a trusted adult.
