Peel Regional Police Discover Human Remains in Brampton

Brampton – Investigators from 22 Division Criminal Investigation Bureau have discovered human remains in Fletcher’s Green Community Park located at 450 Ray Lawson Blvd, Brampton.

On Thursday, November 10, 2016, at 11:36 a.m. a concerned citizen contacted Peel Regional Police in relation to the discovery of human remains. Peel Regional Police attended the area and the Ontario Coroner’s Office was notified. An Ontario Coroner attended the scene and confirmed that the remains were human and requested a post mortem to be completed.

The identity of the remains and the cause of death are unknown at this time. Peel Regional Police do not feel there is any public safety concern in the area of this incident at this time.
