(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Norfolk County Detachment investigated a motor vehicle collision at a Victoria Street, Simcoe, Norfolk County, Ontario, address.
On Wednesday, June 17, 2015 at approximately 11:22 a.m., police were called to Victoria Street address for a motor vehicle collision involving a pedestrian.
Through investigation it has been determined that a motor vehicle was travelling westbound on Victoria Street and attempted to turn southbound into the driveway of an address. The driver of vehicle subsequently came into contact with a pedestrian resulting in minor injuries. The driver of the vehicle was uninjured.
As a result of police investigation, 66-year-old Graeme LAMBERT of Norfolk County, Ontario was charged under the Highway Traffic Act with fail to yield to pedestrian.
