(PUSLINCH TOWNSHIP, ON) – On October 25, 2015 at approximately 9:45 p.m., members of the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) investigated the occupants of a 2005 Honda that was parked on Side Road 20 near Wellington Road 34 in Puslinch Township.
While speaking with the male and female police detected the strong odour of marihuana inside the vehicle and observed marihuana flakes on the gear shifter.
Officers placed the male under arrest and further investigation revealed that he was bound by conditions not to communicate with the female that was present.
25-year-old Paul KURT of Cambridge has been charged with Fail to Comply with Recognizance contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada and Possession of Marihuana Under 30 Grams contrary to the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act. He is to appear in Bail Court to answer to the charges.
