(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Norfolk County Detachment investigated a motor vehicle collision at a Highway 59, North Walsingham, Norfolk County, Ontario address.
On Monday, October 3, 2016 at approximately 7:52 p.m., officers responded to a single motor vehicle collision.
Investigation has determined that a pickup truck was travelling on Highway 59 between 10th Concession Road and McDowell Road West when the driver of the vehicle lost control and entered the ditch causing significant damage to the front the truck.
He was subsequently transported to a local area hospital by Paramedics to be treated for minor injuries.
As a result of investigation, police have charged 44-year-old Patrick Robert CHERNESKI of Norfolk County, Ontario with impaired driving, fail or refuse to provide sample and careless driving.
He is to appear in Provincial Court, Simcoe at a later date to answer to the charges.
