Paint And Nails Dumped On Road In Goderich

(GODERICH, ON) – Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers are currently investigating a case of vandalism that occurred in the south end of Goderich early this morning. Sometime between midnight and 7:00 a.m. unknown persons spilled yellow paint and a large quantity of nails across the roadway at the intersection of South Street and Balvina Drive. Those responsible also used black spray paint to deface the stop sign at the intersection. As well, they spray painted the hood and two rear fenders of a Honda Civic that was parked in a driveway near that intersection.

Huron County OPP officers are looking to speak with anyone that may have information about this senseless crime. Willfully destroying someone else’s property is no joke. It is the criminal offence called Mischief and this offence carries stiff penalties up to and including jail time.
