Owen Sound Man Faces Over 80 Charge After Collision

(MEAFORD, ON) – On October 12, 2015 at 5:09 p.m., the Grey County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of a 2 vehicle crash along Grey Road 18 in the Municipality of Meaford. Officers arrived to find that a Grey Dodge Charger had collided with a White Toyota Matrix. The driver of the charger was found to have been drinking alcohol. Fifty-five-year-old Michael MAINE of Owen Sound, was charged with care or control over 80 milligrams, careless driving and improper turn. He is scheduled to appear in court on October 29, 2015 to answer to the charges. There were no injuries reported at the scene.
