On December 10, 2015, at approximately 8:50 p.m., members of the Brantford Police Street Crimes Unit executed a search warrant at a Maplecrest Lane residence in Brantford. Upon entering the residence police found and seized the following:
198 fentanyl patches with a street value $28,740
64.2 grams of marihuana with a street value $640
166 hydromorph pills with a street value $2750
147 clonazepam pills with a street value $735
249 Oxycodone pills with a street value $2570
2 grams of hash oil with a street value of $70
And $21,310 proceeds of crime – Total $56,815
A 38 year old man and 32 year old woman were arrested without incident inside the home and charged with the following offences:
5 counts of Possession of a Controlled Substance for the purpose of trafficking
1 count of Possession of a Controlled Substance
1 count of Proceeds of Crime
Both accused were held in custody for a bail hearing.
