(Ottawa) On Saturday February 1st 2014 at 12:45 am, a woman in her late teens was walking in the Byward Market area, when she was approached by an unknown male and sexually assaulted. The male continued to follow the female afterwards and two males intervened when the female asked for assistance. The suspect left the area at that point.
The male suspect had light brown skin and appeared to be in his 20’s, 5’7†(170 cm) skinny build and spoke English with an unknown accent.
Investigators would like to speak to the men who assisted the victim.
