(Ottawa) The Ottawa Police Service is advising that on Saturday, March 8th, 2014 shortly after 7:00 am, Patrol Officers attended 2900 Fairlea Crescent to investigate a disturbance call.
Officers identified two males through this investigation resulting in one of the males being arrested with charged with possession of a loaded handgun, possession of marijuana and a large amount of Canadian Currency.
Ahmed ESSA, 23, of Ottawa is facing these charges ;

POSSESS FIREARM, ETC. OBTAINED BY CRIME
POSSESS PROHIBITED DEVICE KNOWING NO AUTHORITY
UNLAWFULLY POSSESS SCHEDULE II SUBSTANCE
FAIL TO COMPLY CONDITION OF JUDICIAL RELEASE x 3
BREACH OF PROBATION x 2
