(ORILLIA, ON) – The Orillia Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is seeking the assistance of the public in identifying a male party involved in an incident in the parking lot of a City of Orillia store.
On Tuesday September 23, 2014 at approximately 8:00 p.m., a female was walking to her vehicle in the parking lot of the Metro grocery store on Front Street north when she was approached by a male party. The unknown male grabbed the arm of the female while she was outside her vehicle. He then walked off in the direction of Coldwater Street and Front Street north. The female was not injured.
The Orillia OPP is currently investigating the incident but is seeking the assistance of the public in identifying the male. Police would like to speak to anyone who witnessed the incident or has any information that could assist in the investigation.
The suspect is described as approximately 50 years of age, 5’ 10†tall with a slim build, grey shoulder length hair, unshaven and wearing dark clothing. A picture of the male is attached.
