(Napanee, ON)- With the cold weather inevitably approaching the Napanee OPP have once again teamed up with Corus Entertainment to ensure that children in Lennox and Addington County are kept warm this winter.
The Clothes for Kids program run by Corus Entertainment in Kingston supports over 2500 kids in the Kingston, Napanee/Kaladar/Odessa and Gananoque areas by providing new winter snowsuits to families in need.
Applicants must be 13 years and under. Size 16 is the maximum size available.
Applications are available at the Napanee, Loyalist and Kaladar OPP detachments between 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Mon-Fri. Applications will also be available at elementary schools in Lennox and Addington County. Please bring photo id and proof that you are the legal guardian of particular child (health card, birth certificate). Please don’t guess at your child’s size – be specific. (Cut-off date is November 6th).
546-1-KID (613-546-1543) is the number for the community to call regarding questions on how to donate cash/cheques or new snowsuits. This line will be open until Sunday, December 8th, 2013
O.P.P. will notify applicants in Lennox and Addington County once the snowsuits are ready for pick up (end of Nov) at their respective detachment.
The OPP will gladly accept donations of new snowsuits at any of the three detachments located in Napanee, Odessa or Kaladar.
