OPP SEEKING PUBLIC ASSISTANCE TO LOCATE HIT AND RUN SUSPECT

(POINT EDWARD, ON) – Lambton County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is asking for the public’s assistance related to the investigation of a hit and run collision that occurred in a parking lot at the corner of Helena Street and St. Clair Street at around 11:30 p.m. on November 1, 2014.

Investigation determined that a dark coloured pickup truck was driving erratically in the parking lot when it struck a 29 year old Sarnia male. The victim has been transported to London Health Sciences where he is being treated for undetermined injuries. The truck was last seen driving east on Lite Street at a high rate of speed.

The Lambton County OPP with assistance from the Lambton County OPP Criminal Investigations Unit continues to investigate and wishes to speak to anyone who has information about this incident. Anyone with information is asked to please contact the Lambton County OPP at 1-888-310-1122.
