(CHATHAM-KENT, ON) On July 28, 2014, just after 1:00 a.m., Chatham-Kent Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers and Chatham-Kent Fire Services responded to a vehicle fire on Highway 401 westbound near Charing Cross Road.
The tractor portion of an International tractor trailer became fully engulfed and was subsequently brought under control by attending fire fighters.
Highway 401 westbound between Communication Road and Bloomfield Road was closed for approximately three hours while Emergency crews attended at the scene.
No injuries were reported.
