(CHATHAM-KENT, ON) On April 27, 2014, just before 11:30 p.m., Chatham-Kent Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers and Chatham-Kent Fire Services responded to a vehicle fire on Highway 401 eastbound near Charing Cross Road.
The lone driver noted heat and smoke in the Chevrolet car, pulled over to the shoulder of the highway and exited the vehicle. The vehicle became fully engulfed and was subsequently brought under control by attending fire fighters.
