(Oro-Medonte, ON) – Barrie Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is currently on scene of a two vehicle, fatal motor vehicle collision on Simcoe County Road 11 between Line 12 and Line 13 North, Oro-Medonte Twp.
On Thursday October 31st at 10:00 AM Barrie OPP, Simcoe County Emergency Medical Services (EMS) and Oro-Medonte Fire Department (OMFD) responded to a two vehicle collision involving a Tractor trailer and a motor vehicle. The car was travelling eastbound on Simcoe County Road 11 and collided with the westbound Tractor trailer.
The driver of the car was confirmed deceased at scene. The tractor trailer driver was not injured. OPP Technical Traffic Collision Investigator (TTCI) team members are on scene to assist with the investigation.
Both roads are expected to be closed for several hours while OPP investigate.
