(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), Norfolk County Detachment is reminding the public to protect their property and valuables against would be thieves after a theft was reported at an Owen Street, Simcoe, Norfolk County, Ontario address.
On Tuesday, February 11, 2014 at approximately 8:30 p.m., police were contacted by a concerned homeowner after a laptop computer was removed from the residence.
Through investigation it has been determined that the occupants of the residence where at home when an unknown person entered a bedroom area and subsequently removed the computer.
The computer is being described as an Apple laptop valued at approximately $1,200 dollars.
Police are reminding all community residents to ensure that all window and doors are secured on their residences at all times.
