(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), Norfolk County Detachment is investigating the theft of fuel from a Front Road, Charlotteville, Norfolk County, Ontario, address.
On Friday, March 28, 2014 in the early morning hours, unknowns attended the residence and proceeded to remove approximately 1,800 litres of fuel from storage tanks located on the property.
The theft is valued at approximately $ 2,340 dollars.
Businesses and farms with large fuel storage should make sure pumps and the access to the storage tanks are secured with heavy duty locks. If the location is isolated and unsupervised for long periods of time, consider installing lights and security cameras.
