OPP INVESTIGATING THEFT OF BICYCLE

(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Norfolk County Detachment is investigating the theft of a bicycle from a Cherry Street, Simcoe, Norfolk County, Ontario address.

On Friday, December 6, 2013 in the early morning hours, unknowns attended the address and proceeded to remove a locked bicycle from the residence.

The bicycle is described as a Schwinn mountain bike, black and white in colour with red rims.

Some tips that may help prevent bicycle theft.

Invest in a good bicycle lock.

Make sure your bicycle is out of sight and not left in the an open area without being locked.

Make sure that your bike and the area that you store your bicycle is locked and secured
