OPP INVESTIGATING THEFT FROM TURKEY POINT RESIDENCE

(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Norfolk County Detachment is reminding residents be vigilant after a theft was reported at a Ferris Drive, Turkey Point, Norfolk County, Ontario address.

On Wednesday, August 20, 2014, at approximately 2:17 a.m., three unknown females attended the address and were observed lying on the roadway. One of the female approached the residence and walked to the side of the property removing a concrete statute. All three were left the area in an unknown direction.

The concrete statute is described as being approximately 75 to 100 lbs, freshly painted figurine with a green hat, black vest and pants holding a red bottle valued at approximately $250 dollars.

The suspect is described as a female, white, 25 to 35 years of age, 130 to 150 lbs, blond hair and was wearing a light coloured sweater, pants and sandals.

Police are currently reviewing security footage that captured the theft however the homeowner is looking for the item to be returned as is has sentimental value.
