(TAY TOWNSHIP,On) – Members of the Southern Georgian Bay Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were dispatched at 3:42am on Oct 19,2014 to a Winfield Drive residence in Victoria Harbour, Tay Township after the OPP Communications Centre received a robbery incident had just occurred.
A lone intoxicated male entered the victims home after knocking on the door and once inside threatened the homeowner with a weapon wanting money. Suspect left the home prior to the arrival of police.
Description of the suspect is as follows- male white, 20-30 years of age, over 6′ tall, scruffy blackish/brown facial hair, wearing a hat with red plaid jacket, red running shoes and baggy jeans.
